About our practice:

Comprehensive Vein Care was started 6 years ago by Dr. Steve Samuel, a retired General Surgeon with 33 years’ experience. Our practice specializes in the latest state-of-the-art vein treatments for our patients. We offer advanced minimally invasive treatments to remove bulging varicose veins, and our advanced Sclerotherapy injections remove unsightly spider veins. Our boutique office was created to let patients feel like home.

Offered salary and other compensations:

Based on your experience and performance record, we offer $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Additionally, we offer:

Your schedule: Monday thru Friday 800 am-430pm.

Your Mission as our Medical Assistant:

You will be reflecting our mission, vision, and values of Comprehensive Vein Care. You will assume a wide range of clinical and administrative roles and serve as a key team player when interacting with patients and clinical staff in the ambulatory care environment. Key daily routine:
  • Accurately document patient information under organizational policies, regulations, and procedures. Familiarity with HIPPA regulations.
  • Make observations of the general physical condition of the patient and notify the healthcare provider of abnormalities.
Some of our Medical Assistant’s duties and responsibilities:
  • Help in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician or mid-level provider.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment and restocks supplies.
  • Help and accompany patients from waiting room and prepare them for examination.
  • Interview patients and record information in patients’ medical records.
  • Ensure all charts are ready for office visits.
  • Measure, collect and record patient’s vital signs (i.e. pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height, compression hose measurements, photos) and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Required qualifications:
  • Medical Assistant certification from a program accredited by the American Association of Medical Assistants or the American Medical Technologists.
  • NOTE: Medical assistant experience required, but vein care experience NOT required.
