Note: The schedule is Monday to Thursday (7:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Offered salary and other compensation:

Depending on your experience and performance record, we offer a yearly salary of $43 to $45 per hour. Additionally, we offer:

About our practice:

Fort Wort Vein Center opened in March 2021 as a dedicated practice for venous and lymphatic diseases; Dr. Oswalt started Fort Worth Vein Center because of increasing need in the area.  We are in our fourth year and thriving.  Our patients give us very high ratings in our care and our office operations.

Your mission & responsibilities as Vascular Ultrasound Technician/Ultrasonogapher:

As our ultrasound technician, you will have a major role in Fort Worth Vein Center. You will spend most of the time with patients, so you MUST enjoy communicating with patients, explaining findings on ultrasound and doing whatever it takes to make patients feel safe and taken care of.
During procedures it is important to make the patient as comfortable as possible and that requires good communication skills and empathy. Some specific responsibilities:
  • Perform venous exams, venous mapping and assist in venous procedures.  Occasionally, you will be involved in venous ulcer wound care. 
  • Scheduling patients, front desk minor duties and phone duties.
  • Keep the room clean during the day and well stocked with supplies that are required for the daily duties. 
  • Supply management and ordering at times.
Required experience and qualifications:
  • Preferably 2 years prior experience with venous scanning, RVT.  RPhS is a plus. 
  • New graduates are welcome to apply. 
  • New hirers will have additional training.
