The Vein Institute is a single physician vein practice started by Dr. Gardner in 2016. Dr. Gardner is certified by the American board of Surgery, the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He treats a wide array of venous and lymphatic disorders including superficial venous insufficiency, varicose veins, spider veins, facial veins, deep vein thrombosis and lymphedema. Your schedule: Monday to Friday, 24 to 30 hours per week.
Your mission & responsibilities as Ultra sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist:
- As a certified ultra sonographer, your main task will be to find vein disease – reflux – on venous scans. You will be working alongside Dr. Gardner performing scans on new patients as well as performing follow up scans after patients have been treated.
- Additionally, you will complete all necessary documentation within our EMR system.
- HS diploma
- Certificate of completion from certified ultrasound school
- RVT certification (Registered Vascular Technologist)
- You should be able to continue to perform the scans in a timely manner as well answering questions and maintaining considerate conversation.
- Must prioritize patient care and comfort.
