Your Mission as Kitchen & Bath/Interior Designer:
- We are widely known among our clients for exceptional customer service. You will embody these values and feel at home in our company's positive, client service-oriented culture.
- In this role, you will spend about 75% of your time in our Rockville Design Studio handling the design aspects of this position and 25% of your time in the field meeting with clients in their home or at showrooms, as well as meeting with vendors and suppliers to cultivate those relationships.
Some of our Kitchen & Bath/Interior Designer ’s duties and responsibilities:
- Create eye-catching, potentially trendsetting custom designs for clients
- Provide conceptual drawings adhering to specifications agreed upon by client and Sales Representative and in accordance with all company policies procedures and building codes
- Coordinate and conduct meetings with clients to decide on or assist in material and product selection, design scope updates/changes and budget-related issues
- Accurately record and maintain detailed Fixture Selection Sheet on all projects
- Participate in pre-construction meetings with Project Manager, Sales Representative and Subcontractors to go over project scope, changes and solutions
- Ensure our Design Studio showcases highly popular as well as the latest product lines and trends.
- Visit local showrooms and build relationships to further the company’s exposure
- NKBA Certified Kitchen & Bathroom Designer
- High-end Luxury Residential Remodeling Experience required
- Proficiency in 20/20 and/or Chief Architect a must
- Computer and technology literate with the ability to quickly learn new applications
- Some Sales and/or Project Estimating experience a plus but not required
- Must be organized and have extreme attention to detail
